Custom processing modules
AlignCTD
The custom version of Sea-Birds original AlignCtd processing module can be used exactly like its role model. You can select fixed alignment factors for the different sensors, avoiding the inefficient and bloated psa configuration file. Additionally, when inputting sole sensor names, without an alignment factor, the module will try to calculate one, using only the data file. In order to do this, cross-correlation between the high-frequency variablility of the correpsonding temperature sensor data and the sensor data that is meant to be aligned to it, is calculated and, after some plausability checks, the highest correlating peak is used as source for the alignment factor. Please note that, while this behaviour and usage is not meant to change, the underlying mathematics and algorithms are still being tweaked and are expected to change.
Wildedit
The custom wildedit module improves on its Sea-Bird role model by avoiding the bloated psa configuration file and by using a sliding window for standard deviation calculation. On top of that, it iteratively flags outliers until none is found. The original one terminates after two fixed rounds. As you still give the module only two standard deviation cutoffs, the second one will be used for all subsequent rounds of flagging.
